Recipe Text:

Picture this, Saturday Morning Sun just breaking eastern horizon, Light dew covering the ground, Hazy mist drifting over sleepy eyed campers just beginning to stir. Wouldn't some hot biscuits and gravy be a great start to a otherwise promising day ? To bad that oven is stuck in that dreary old kitchen back in town. Well look at that grill over there . After all it is basically designed just like an oven at home . the one thing you want to be sure of is that you can manage the heat . 2 important factors here are 1) a
tight fitting lid to the grill to hold heat in. 2) a heavy baking pan to deflect the direct heat from bottom of biscuits. ( I use a cast iron griddle Aprox 1/2 in thick ) You can use canned Biscuits Frozen Biscuits or Grandmas homemade biscuits whatever you want . The trick to this is the cooking. Ok get that grill good and hot 375-400 degrees minimum, arrange biscuits as normal to whichever type you have to your cold cold did i say cold baking pan quickly place pan in center of grill and cover tightly with grill lid avoid peeking for 10-12 minutes oh yeah now enjoy
